Kennedy Highway CN11566

This project consisted of widening almost 3km of road to include overtaking lanes, wide centreline treatment and intersection upgrades.

To achieve this the project required substantial cut and fill areas, culvert extension and drainage upgrades.

The pavement was constructed using lightly bound subbase and base materials. Saturated areas required rock mattress treatments and sub soil drains.

Drainage upgrades included gabion rock baskets and rock protection.
