Kennedy Highway CN-13339

This project demonstrates what can be achieved when the client and principal contractor work together to achieve the best results. The project was on a notorious section of road that had been reworked under multiple contracts. RCG collaborated closely with the client to utilise the budget to achieve best outcomes. The result was a project that consisted of Extensive excavation up to 700m deep, subsoil drains, 400mm rock mattress and triple blend (cement, FAB & Lime) stabilisation to base and sub base layers.

This project was in the middle of the World Heritage Wet Tropics with the required application of the Wet Tropics Authority Road Maintenance Code of Practice.
